St George's Day.
April 23rd is St George's Day. Saint George is the patron saint of England.
We celebrated this day by asking everyone to dress up as characters from the George and the Dragon legend, in red and white, to wear the red cross on a white background emblem and to create work around the theme (playscripts, poetry, masks).
we also invited the community to join our assembly where we learned about the history, legend and traditions associated with St George.
These photos show some of the pupils on the day.
